"Havenwereld", means 'Habour World' in Dutch, is an initiative of the Province of Antwerp and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. The Royal Belgium Shipowners' Association (KBRV), together with the Belgian Shipping Association (BSV) and FORWARD Belgium, are supporting the project with both substantive and financial contributions.

The future maritime experience centre will immerse the general public in the world of shipping, port and logistics activities, through a dynamic mix of interactive games, educational workshops and insightful exhibitions. The centre aims to render the highly complex and technical processes of the maritime and transport industry more tangible and understandable, in order to attract more young talents to the business.

Spanning over an area of 2,650m2, the Havenwereld is expected to be ready in mid-2026.
